Air Conditioner Tax Credits
If you purchase certain energy-efficient products or renewable energy heating and cooling system for your home, you may be eligible for a federal tax credit. These products include air conditioners, heat pumps and and furnaces. The products can be gas or electric and do not have to be dual fuel in order to qualify for the tax credit.
The following HVAC products are eligible for tax credits if they meet the requirements:
- Air source heat pump
- Central Air Conditioners that meet the SEER rating requirements
- Natural gas, propane or oil furnaces
